It simply reads all volumes associated to a given drive, including not only floppies but hard disks, pen drives, removable media like SD, MMC, MS, XD or similar and even data cd / dvd. The algorithm is pretty simple, it just opens every mounted volume on the selected drive and dumps its contents to a file.
